Legacy Migration
Many legacy applications are based on very old technology platforms. For all of those there will come a point where, regardless of functionality, the respective platform becomes insupportable. Very often, the lack of vendor support and the inability to attract and retain technicians to maintain the ancient technology in house will put the enterprise at a high risk of failure. At that point, it is well worth to consider moving the application to a more modern technology platform without necessarily making significant changes in its functionality. i2t2 has strong expertise in the following legacy application re-platforming:
OS 360 and 370 Assembler Code
ISAM and VSAM data structures
Legacy PC products such as Foxpro, Clipper, and Dbase
At i2t2 we also offer our clients a full suite of Web-legacy integration from simply Web-enabling host-centered applications without rewriting a single line of mainframe code to the complete transformation of legacy systems into modern multi-tier e-business applications.

The i2t2 team has the technical and managerial expertise to be ready for the challenge of integrating the many components of a Web-enabled legacy application. Our technical expertise is focused on but not limited to the following:
Legacy platforms: IBM Mainframes, UNISYS, AS/400, HP.
Legacy data structures: VSAM, IMS, DLI, IDMS, ADABAS, DB2.
Legacy transaction engines: IMS, CICS.
Middleware: MQ Series, Tuxedo, Microsoft Transaction Servers, Netscape Application Server, IBM Websphere
Other Web Tools: XML, HTML, various flavors of Java, .NET and Coldfusion.
